The standard

Built to the C-TECC guidelines

This course follows the Committee for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (C-TECC) guidelines at the two levels written for people working without a medical license: the Active Bystander and the First Responder with a Duty to Act.

Guideline level 01

Active Bystander

The person who happens to be there and has no professional obligation to act — a teacher, a congregant, a coworker, an armed citizen, a parent in the stands. Trained to recognize life threats and stop the bleeding with what is on hand or in a public bleeding-control kit.

Guideline level 02

First Responder with a Duty to Act

The person whose job puts them there and obligates them to respond — police, security officers, school and campus response personnel, workplace emergency response teams. Trained to the same life threats with issued equipment, in a role that carries a duty and a policy behind it.

Trilogy Emergency Medical Solutions is a C-TECC Recognized Educational Partner.
Trilogy is not a training center for any outside organization and delivers no one else's curriculum. The Street Medicine curriculum is Trilogy's own, written to the C-TECC guidelines.

The program

First taught in 2016. 2026 is the program's anniversary year. Delivered to police departments, sheriff's offices, state agencies, security organizations and schools nationwide.
