The opening argument
There are more people who need this training than there are people qualified to teach it.
Every police department, school district, church, range, security company, and workplace in the country has the same unsolved problem: the people most likely to be standing next to a bleeding casualty are the least likely to have been trained to help.
The national programs that certify trauma instructors almost all require you to hold a medical license first. That is why the supply of instructors is small, and why so many organizations never get trained.
Trilogy built this course differently. If you can teach, you can be certified to teach this — whether you are a police officer, a firearms instructor, a security director, a school resource officer, or a medic.
No medical license required
Most national instructor pathways are restricted to EMTs and paramedics. This one is not.

The standard
Built to the C-TECC guidelines
This course follows the Committee for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (C-TECC) guidelines at the two levels written for people working without a medical license: the Active Bystander and the First Responder with a Duty to Act.
Active Bystander
The person who happens to be there and has no professional obligation to act — a teacher, a congregant, a coworker, an armed citizen, a parent in the stands. Trained to recognize life threats and stop the bleeding with what is on hand or in a public bleeding-control kit.
First Responder with a Duty to Act
The person whose job puts them there and obligates them to respond — police, security officers, school and campus response personnel, workplace emergency response teams. Trained to the same life threats with issued equipment, in a role that carries a duty and a policy behind it.
Trilogy Emergency Medical Solutions is a C-TECC Recognized Educational Partner.Trilogy is not a training center for any outside organization and delivers no one else's curriculum. The Street Medicine curriculum is Trilogy's own, written to the C-TECC guidelines.

Scope of the credential
What you'll be certified to do
As a certified Street Medicine Instructor you are authorized to deliver the Street Medicine provider course — to your agency, your students, your clients, or the public.
What that includes: teaching the provider curriculum, running and evaluating the hands-on skills sessions, issuing your students access to the Trilogy online academics, and building a training program under your own business.
What it does not include: certifying other instructors. Instructor development stays with Trilogy. Your certification authorizes provider-level delivery only.
The business model, in plain numbers
You have two revenue lines: what you charge for training, and what it costs you to deliver it. Trilogy's job is to keep the second number small and predictable.
Your cost per student: $20. Certified instructors purchase student seats from Trilogy at $20 each. That seat gives your student access to the 8-hour online academics on the Trilogy Schoolhouse — the same curriculum, delivered accurately, every time, with the completion record handled for you.
What you charge is up to you. You set your own tuition and keep it. Trilogy takes no percentage.
You are not carrying the curriculum burden. You are not writing a course, maintaining slides, or defending a curriculum you built yourself.
This is a business model, not an income guarantee. What you earn depends on your market, your pricing, and how hard you work it.

Firearms instructors
Your students already carry a tourniquet, or should. Adding trauma training is the highest-margin add-on in the industry and it fills the classes you already run.
Security companies and schools
Train your own workforce, and sell trauma training to your clients as a service line.
Law enforcement
Certify in-house and train your officers on your own schedule, at your own cost of consumables.
Schools, churches, and campuses
The organizations most likely to need this are the least likely to have anyone qualified. Be the person who can.
